Born into a very creative family, Jamila always took a keen interest in writing and performing
arts. She studied English Literature and Film at Manchester Metropolitan University before
landing her first job doing sales in media production. Realising she wanted to be in front of
the camera, she decided to undertake her Masters in Acting at Mountview in 2018 and
hasn’t looked back. Since graduating her credits include Dark Ditties (AmazonPrime), Tiny
Creatures (Netflix) and Departure (NBC/Universal).
