Shakira is an actress with a fresh and vibrant energy who has recently graduated from East 15 Acting school. As well as being bright and friendly, Shakira’s voice also has deep silky tones meaning she can effortlessly switch from youthful and naturally bright, to a more sophisticated and emotive read.
Being born and raised in Portsmouth, Hampshire but living in London for the last three years means Shakira can offer a neutral and modern sound that she is swiftly, and confidently able to transform into RP and General America when required, and is well equipped to voice a variety of contemporary campaigns, video games and audiobooks with her friendly and enthusiastic energy.
As well as acting, Shakira also writes for stage and screen; and runs and hosts a podcast in collaboration with the National Youth Theatre called Gettin’ Creative; a podcast where she chats to folk from all creative industries about their careers and gets advice for the audience on how they can get started too.
