Yasmine Alice is an actress, tv presenter, producer and lawyer. She was born in Istanbul and moved to England in 2008. She is half Turkish and half Kurdish. She studied LLB Law with German at the University of Sussex, German Law with Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and completed her Legal Practise Course with the University of Law Bloomsbury. She speaks 5 languages ﬂuently.
She worked as a corporate lawyer for 5 years until one day, she was scouted for a entertainment news channel. She then started working as a news reporter, airing on a popular tv network twice a week reporting from London. She ﬁlmed numerous documentaries and reported for many channels, from Amnesty International to TV8.
Her transition into acting was a surprise, with her ﬁrst acting job being in a popular British tv series called Red Dwarf. Since then, she has appeared in 2 feature ﬁlms where she was the lead and many short ﬁlms that have gone to ﬁlm festivals. She has appeared in numerous commercials and hosted many events on stage, from ﬁlm festivals to awards ceremonies. She was also the lead actress in a play called Tangled which opened at the Criterion in West End in 2019.
Yasmine is a producer and the founder of Bastet Productions. Her vision as a ﬁlmmaker is to make movies that has a societal impact and are based on true stories.
Yasmine’s voice is versatile, deep and young. She has a Londoner/British accent, along with her Turkish and Middle eastern accents which she has used for many voice over jobs. Her credits include Ebay, Mercedes, numerous documentaries, Turkish news channels, British movies and audiobooks.
Yasmine is an avid gamer and is a huge fan of cartoons such as Archer, Big Mouth and Disenchantment. She’s also a collector of swords!
